Agrozero Quitactiv 
Formulation of chitosan hydrochloride to stimulate the natural defenses of plants.
AGROZERO QUITACTIV is a concentrated formulation of chitosan hydrochloride obtained thanks to a deacetylation process ᾳ-chitin from shellfish. The shell of insects and the cell wall of fungi also feature this very chitin, which makes the plants launch their natural defenses when the product enters in contact with vegetal tissue. Since the plant cannot identify the problem it should face, the crops generate generic antimicrobial compounds which promote a protection against all types of external stress. .
In addition, chitosan is a metabolic activator that stimulates the vegetal growth of crops without nitrogen input which would soften vegetal tissues. At the same time the chitinase contained in AGROZERO QUITACTIV especially promotes the production of callose, lignin and suberin which act as a natural barrier against the infection by pathogens.
Product certified to be used as an input in Organic Farming according to the established Regulations and it is suitable for application in Vulnerable Areas where fertliser inputs are resitricted.
